Phase 2 cobb gate to harbour plan

The construction of Phase II of the Lyme Regis Coast Protection Scheme took two years and was completed in March 2007.

The scheme was designed to protect the area from Cobb Gate to the harbour area from landslides and coastal erosion.

The scheme involved slope stabilisation and drainage reinstatement works in Langmoor and Lister Gardens, the construction of a new seawall, new rock armour structures, masonry jetties and beach replenishment.
