Your council tax bill is made up of different charges from Dorset County Council, your district/borough council, the Police Authority, the Fire Authority and in some cases your town or parish council, depending on where you live.
Open data and transparency
We are committed to open data and transparency and compliance with the Government's Transparency Code of Practice. Data published according to the Transparency Code is shown below. We are increasingly making content available in open formats to allow the re-use of data.
4 year efficiency plan 2016-17 to 2019-20
As part of the November 2015 Spending Review, the government offered an opportunity for councils to achieve greater certainty and confidence over their budgets by accepting a four-year budget settlement. As part of the acceptance of this offer Councils are required to publish a four-year efficiency plan.
Purbeck District Council 4-year Efficiency Plan
As part of the funding settlement for 2016/17, the Government provided indications of the resources that may be made available to each council over the next four years.
Dorset Councils Partnership Efficiency Plan 2016/17 to 2019/20
Dorset Councils Partnership is the partnership between North Dorset District Council, West Dorset District Council and Weymouth and Portland Borough Council, who have been working together since 2015.
