*The ticket machines do not provide change, however you can pay for your car parking ticket with your mobile phone - just follow the instructions on the ticket machine.
There are 5 spaces at £5 per coach, however pre-booked coaches are free of charge. Contact Purbeck District Council. This is a great facility for taking the Swanage Railway (opens in a new window) steam or diesel train to Corfe Castle and Swanage, and is the best way to avoid traffic congestion.

A separate train ticket will need to be purchased from Swanage Railway (opens in a new window) if you wish to travel by train to Corfe Castle, Harmans Cross, Herston or Swanage. Alternatively you can walk to Corfe Castle village using the footpath (approx 10 minutes to the National Trust Visitor Centre and another 10 minutes to the Castle entrance and Village Square), follow the signs from the end of the Railway Station platform towards Corfe Castle or download the village map (pdf, 240kb) (opens in a new window).

Ideas for days out from Norden:
walk to the coast along The Purbeck Way. Follow signs to the Purbeck Way from the car park or end of the railway station platform
walk or get the Purbeck Breezer number 40 bus to Kingston and go for a walk on the miles of footpaths followed by a pub lunch. The bus stop is located outside the car park, next to the National Trust Visitor Centre - download the map (pdf, 67kb) (opens in a new window) for bus stop location or follow signs from the end of the railway station platform
get the Purbeck Breezer number 30 bus (seasonal bus service during the summer months only) to Lulworth Cove or Wareham from the bus stop inside the car park
walk to Studland along route 2 of the Poole Harbour Trail (opens in a new window). To return, get the Wilts and Dorset number 50 bus to Swanage, then a steam train (opens in a new window) back to Norden
get the Purbeck Breezer number 40 bus to Langton Matravers. Walk down to Dancing Ledge and then along the South West Coast Path to Durlston Country Park and Swanage (approximately 5 miles). Get a steam train (opens in a new window) back from Swanage to Norden.
