Find out more about the sections in Dorset which are open and where you can walk, rest, relax or admire the view.

  • Lulworth New coastal access rights - Weymouth Bay stretch

Dorset's wonderful coast is one of its greatest assets. We are delighted that this stretch is the very first section of the England Coast Path.

A voluntary wildlife sanctuary zone and associated climbing restrictions are in place to protect the sensitive wildlife area west of Stairhole.

  • Chesil Beach View Over St Catherines Chapel England Coast Path

Proposals published for second stretch in Dorset, which would bring improvements to the South West Coast Path between Rufus Castle, Portland and Lyme Regis.
