PCV driver training for D and D1 licence

We provide training courses run by a registered PCV Driving Instructor for both Passenger Carrying Vehicle licence categories D1 and D.

The process of obtaining your PCV licence is as follows:

  • have a medical to prove you are physically fit to drive a PCV (Form D4)
  • pass the theory tests, consisting of multiple choice questions and hazard perception
  • book your practical driver training course with us - once you have passed your theory we will be pleased to arrange a convenient date to start your training

Once you have passed your driving test, you will need to complete the Initial CPC qualification; a Case Study and a Practical Walk Round test.
