How is the superfast broadband project being funded?

The Government is investing £530 million in England and Scotland to ensure that the UK has the best superfast broadband network in Europe.
Dorset has been allocated £11.7 million from this central budget.
Each of the local authorities in Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole have allocated money into the project to match the Government money. BT is contributing £13.29 million.
These figures include additional funding that has come into the programme for the Marshwood announcement and the second contract announced in June 2015.
