Apply for street and house collection permits in North Dorset, West Dorset and Weymouth and Portland

You must be 16 or over to collect money or goods under a street collection or house to house collection permit.

Street collections

There is no fee for a street collection permit. You can use one of the attached forms to apply and either email it to us or post it back:

House to house collections

There is no fee for a house to house collection permit.

Apply for a street collection or house to house collection permit. if you're applying for the first time, you'll need to register first.

A collection return form must be completed within one month of the collection to verify the amounts raised and to show how the funds raised were distributed.

Applications will be dealt with within 14 days of being received. Tacit consent applies provided that an application was received 14 days before the collection.

We may refuse a licence application for a number of set reasons.
