Business rates - information
Local businesses and others who occupy non-domestic property make a contribution towards the costs of local services by paying non-domestic rates. These are collected by local councils, pooled by central government and redistributed according to the number of people living in the area.

Please note that records are not published for sole traders and individuals because this is personal data and therefore exempt under Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Publication would breach the Data Protection Act 1998.
