Issues applying or getting your code for 30 hours free childcare for September

Information on what to do if you are had problems applying for 30 hours free childcare for September 2017.

If you're eligible and have been having technical issues applying/getting your eligibility code, you can now get a temporary code. To do this you must contact the Childcare Funding helpline and they will give you a temporary code.

Parents asked to provide extra information before 31 August

If you applied before 31 August and were asked to provide extra information, you may be considered an 'amber case'. It will state whether you're an amber case in your Childcare Service account mail box/secure message. If this is you, you're likely to receive your code in September.

For the autumn term only, providers are encouraged to fund a 30 hours place for 'amber cases' who get their code in September. You will need to prove to your provider you're an amber case.
