Beaminster Children’s Centre work closely with both Lyme Regis and Bridport Children’s Centre.

Activity programme

Take a look at our West Dorset Children's Centre's spring activity programme which runs from January to March 2019. You'll find we run a range of activities and events for families. We may be able to pick up families who are unable to make their own way to a session.

If you would like more information or support to attend, please contact the West Dorset FPZ.

Please note that the Beaminster Children's Centre building may not be open at all times. Please contact the West Dorset FPZ if you need advice/support as staff will still be working in the Beaminster area.

Parenting skills and strategies sessions

These drop-in sessions offer practical and friendly support for all parents and carers of children and young people of all ages. Find out about parenting skills and strategies sessions.

Building facilities

Facilities include a:
  • sports hall 
  • funky retro café and kitchen. Here we run cooking sessions
  • small courtyard play area 
  • large meeting room/training room

You can hire the building for events or parties. To hire, contact West Dorset FPZ.

Accessibility

The centre has accessible toilets and disabled access.

Opening hours

The centre is open:

  • Monday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm
  • Friday - 9am to 4pm
