Foster carers' experiences

We've done a series of interviews with foster carers so you can find out what it's actually like to offer a home to vulnerable children.

Giving children belief in themselves

Penny Doubleday is fostering 12-year-old Paige, who, despite a hard start in life, is now thriving at home and school. Penny says the joy of fostering is helping children believe in themselves and find the confidence to go out into the world and achieve.

Fostering - enough love to go around!

Laura and Greg Collins of Wimborne have given a permanent foster home to 3 boys, brothers aged 10, 13 and 15. Laura talks about the challenges and rewards and how it's been beneficial for her own daughters, Daisy, aged 11 and Molly, aged 9.
