Cheryl is a widow who lives in North Dorset with her own children, Ellie and Oliver. Cheryl provides respite breaks for children with severe disabilities, and also fosters children on an emergency basis. Here is what she said:
Mike and Debbie's experience
Mike and Debbie decided to foster after their own children left home. They foster an 11 year old boy and the plan is to give him a permanent home until he's an adult. They find that fostering brings more laughter into the house, and benefits them as a couple thanks to all the activities they now do as a family. Here's what they said:
