Standards (Hearing) Sub-Committee

The role of the Standards (Hearing) Sub-Committee

The Standards (Hearing) Sub-Committee has responsibility for hearings to consider all reports into alleged breaches of the Code of Conduct for Councillors following investigation by the Monitoring Officer or a person appointed by him and all reports into alleged breaches of an adopted protocol.

Membership of the Committee

For individual Standards (Hearing) Sub-Committee meetings, four members are drawn from the Standards Committee.

The membership of individual Sub-Committees is listed on the agenda for the meeting.

Meeting dates

Standards (Hearing) Sub-Committee meetings are held as and when required.

Agendas and minutes

There have been no Standards (Hearing) Sub-Committee meetings since 2016.
