Christchurch & East Dorset Landscape and Countryside Team

What do we do?

The Christchurch and East Dorset Landscape and Countryside Team is responsible for protecting and maintaining all sensitive wildlife sites in the ownership of Christchurch Borough Council and East Dorset District Council.

In addition to site management the team increase understanding, awareness and enjoyment of the boroughs' countryside through events and activities including guided walks, bioblitzes and a varied range of practical conservation tasks.

Why not come and visit or find out more about the countryside sites in Christchurch. If you would like to become more involved in the countryside there are opportunities to volunteer with the conservation volunteers.
