Dorchester Marathon travel advice - Sunday 28 May

The first Dorchester Marathon and half marathon takes place on Sunday 28 May around the town centre and outlying villages on the east side of the town - plan your journey now and stay ahead of the game.

Some roads in Dorchester and in villages on the east side of the town will be closed from 7am on Sunday 28 May and gradually reopen once the race has passed through.

Areas affected include:

  • Dorchester inc. Fordington, Cokers Frome and Max Gate
  • West Stafford
  • Tincleton
  • Bockhampton
  • Clouds Hill
  • Affpuddle
  • Tolpuddle
  • Athelhampton
  • Puddletown
