Update your education directory record

You can search the Family Information Directory for your setting's record entry.

Search the Family Information Directory

You have been given access to a system called Synergy Online which will enable you to:

  • keep your directory record's core information up to date, including contact details, opening hours, facilities, pupil age and out of school club provision
  • provide a link to your Local Offer on your own website (special educational needs and disability information)

The Family Information Service automatically update Ofsted inspection results and report links for you, soon after reports are published.

We have introduced this simpler approach to help remove duplication on both your directory record and your school's website.

Synergy Online

We have sent Synergy Online user account login details to all education settings.

Log in to Synergy Online

Once you are logged into Synergy Online, access the forms section and use the relevant forms prefixed with 'FIS' to update your details. Once you have submitted a form, we will approve it within 3 working days and any changes will appear on the directory the day after approval.
