Dorset Police contact point

The Dorset Police contact point is in Dorchester Library and Learning Centre.

Following changes to Dorset Police counter service provisions, the Force is working in partnership with Dorset County Council libraries to implement the first of its pilot contact points at Dorchester Library and Learning Centre.

The service is open every Monday and Thursday from 10am until 2pm.

Volunteers from Dorset Police will be there to provide the local public with:

  • convenient online services
  • 101 telephone access
  • crime prevention information

Outside of these hours ask library staff to help you get online.

The new contact point, which is managed by volunteers, is a key support to help the public engage with the police.
