Computers and Internet access at Dorset Libraries
All Dorset Libraries offer free access to the Internet, Microsoft Office 2010 applications and scanners using the public 'Go Online' computers. Printing is also available for a small charge.
Book a computer
Computers are available free for one hour sessions. Subject to demand, a further hour may be available. You can book computer sessions up to a week in advance by
- You will need your library card to log onto a computer when you arrive for your session.
- if you are under 16, you need parent or guardian permission to use the computers. Ask library staff for a parental permission form.
- Customers are required to agree to and follow the Computer use policy each time they use a public computer.
Be safe online
Free Wi-Fi is available at all Dorset Libraries so you can access the Internet on your own mobile device. You do not have to be a library member, but you will need to accept the terms and conditions of use to access it. Please note that Wi-Fi printing is currently not available.
