Local music groups in Dorset

There are many ensemble opportunities for beginner musicians in music groups across the county.

Opportunities provided by the Dorset Music Service

BFG - Beginner Friendly Groups

Beginner Friendly Groups (BFG) are great if you have started to learn an instrument, can play and read just three notes and are aged between 7 and 11.  These one hour sessions consist of group warm ups, rhythmic games and challenges, and of course playing great music together.
