Current planning policy consultations

As part of Christchurch and East Dorset councils' Local Plans, we are committed to effective consultation that is accessible to all sectors of the community.

The 2004 Planning Act requires local planning authorities to consult with the public and other stakeholders at regular stages during the production of planning documents.

There are currently no planning policy consultations.

Staying in touch

It is easy to keep up to date with what is going on with Christchurch and East Dorset's planning policy.

Both councils maintain a contact database which allows us to inform residents and stakeholders of consultations on any document which might interest them. To ensure we have your details, and that you don't miss out on events and consultations, simply contact the Planning Policy team:
