Lytchett Matravers Neighbourhood Plan
Further to a positive referendum vote on 4 May 2017, Purbeck District Council resolved to 'make' (adopt) the Lytchett Matravers Neighbourhood Plan on 13 June 2017.
The plan reflects the community's vision for the future of the parish; where investment should go for the future of the parish; and provides village residents with a voice in the planning process. The plan is now statutory and will be used in determining planning applications in Lytchett Matravers parish.

Should the majority of voters agree to the modified plan, Purbeck District Council will meet to decide to 'make' or 'refuse to make' the plan. If the Council decides to make the plan, it will become statutory and will be used in determining planning applications in Lytchett Matravers parish.
Purbeck District Council Legal Compliance Check and Decision Statement
Lytchett Matravers Parish Council submitted its draft Neighbourhood Plan to Purbeck District Council in November 2015. The district council has a duty to check the draft Neighbourhood Plan to ensure it meets all relevant legal requirements. The district council is satisfied that these requirements have been met, as set out in the Legal Compliance Check and Decision Statement.
