The SCI sets out how West Dorset District Council and Weymouth and Portland Borough Council will involve residents, businesses and other organisations in decision-making on planning policy and local development. Both councils recognise the importance of effective community involvement in shaping future development and this document explains how the councils aim to achieve this.
