Pre-application advice for West Dorset and Weymouth and Portland

Get our opinion about your proposal before you submit a full application.

Please note that we are unable to give planning advice over the phone or webchat. If you would like the advice of a planning officer attend a surgery or submit a pre-application advice form.

Advice

Before you submit an application, you can ask for the advice of a planning officer. You can have a 15 to 30 minute appointment to talk to them.

The surgery meetings aim to assist with householder enquiries only. If your enquiry relates to a minor or larger scale proposal you should use a pre-application form.
