School transport

Information on school transport, including the home to school transport policy.

New smart cards - important information for parents

As part of the School Transport improvement plan, we will be introducing durable plastic passes (on larger vehicles) instead of the paper passes issued previously. These will be for the life of attendance at your school or college, subject to transport entitlement and so will not need to be re-issued every year. Please read the  letter to parents (pdf, 94kb) (opens in a new window) for more information.

First Group - industrial action week commencing 18 July 2016

First Wessex strike action continues this week. We recommend that users continue to monitor the service announcements via the  First Group (opens in a new window) website and make plans for alternative forms of travel, including walking, cycling, rail and share car travel were viable. If no alternatives are available, we suggest you allow additional time for your journey.
