Exercise class timetable at Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre

From HIIT to yoga, aerobics to Pilates, we have over 65 classes each week. Group exercise is a great way to stay focused, motivated and social whilst working towards your fitness goals. All of our classes are instructor led.

A gentle exercise class based on a circuit format ideal for those new to exercise or living with a long term health condition. Recommended for participants of the GP Referral Scheme.

A mixed ability level class a mix of standing and seated Asana. If you have been attending the beginners yoga class for some time, you may wish to try this more challenging session without recommendation from the instructor.

A gentle class that uses multiple 'stations' to provide a varied, effective workout from top to toe. Ideal for those returning to exercise from illness or injury.

 In introduction to the ancient, calming Chinese trandition. Addresses the key components of fitness from muscle strength, fitness, balance and co-ordination.

Supervised session based in our cardio suite, gym rig, main hall and indoor cycling suite. A series of challenges designed to continually develop stamina and physical endurance.

 A fat burning, high energy, fun workout featuring kickboxing sequences choreographed to the hottest music mixes. Sure to sculpt and strengthen your body.

Pilates - Progressive

10.30am to 11.15am

Learning new exercises and perfecting the fundamentals of Pilates, this class will challenge but support the basics of alignment, core stability, and help strengthen the whole body. Beginners should start in the beginner's class. If you have been attending the beginners Pilates class for some time, you may wish to try this more challenging session without recommendation from the instructor.

Starting point for the fundamentals of Pilates. Ideal for anyone needing to work at a slower pace to build a strong core, improve flexibility, strength and endurance whilst developing control, co-ordination and balance.

A fun, challenging class designed to keep you moving whilst maintaining a steady, raised heartbeat to keep your heart healthy and create a toned physique.

Yoga - Yin / Restorative / Meditation 11am to 11.55am

Suitable for all abilities. A floor based class with longer holds to release tension from your body and stress from your mind. Props are used to support and release and the class finishes with a meditation session.

Rig HIIT 12pm to 12.30pm Based in our gym rig using equipment to work the body in high intensity intervals to promote weight loss and a serious 'after burn'. £3.80
Deep Aqua 12pm to 12.45pm Slightly more challenging that aqua fit, this workout uses bouyancy belts as an aid. Gentle on the joints whilst getting a great cardio blast.   £5.45
